<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen fuel supply system that can prevent damages on a reactor or the like carrying out a regenerating process by gas phase combustion. <P>SOLUTION: A reactor 18 constituting the hydrogen fuel supply system alternately carries out a reforming step (see Fig.(A)) of reforming a source material supplied through a first inlet/outlet 18C to generate a fuel gas containing hydrogen, and a regenerating step (see Fig.(D)) of mixing combustion air supplied through a second inlet/outlet 18E and a regeneration gas supplied through a regeneration gas inlet 18G in a mixing space 84 and subjecting the mixture gas to catalytic combustion to increase the temperature decreased in the reforming step up to a temperature where reforming can be performed. Upon switching the reactor 18 from the reforming step to the regenerating step, first the combustion air is supplied to the reactor 18 (see Fig.(B)) to cool the mixing space 85 in the reactor 18, and then the regeneration gas is supplied to the mixing space 84 of the reactor 18 (see Fig.(C)). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
