<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte membrane-electrode conjugate with a gasket for a solid polymer fuel cell having a catalyst layer of a desired shape, superior in productivity, and reduced in the deterioration of power generation performance, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolyte membrane-electrode conjugate with a gasket for a solid polymer fuel cell has a catalyst electrode 9 composed of a catalyst layer 5 and an electrode base material 7 formed on both faces of a proton conductive electrolyte membrane, and the gasket 3 is arranged at the surrounding of the catalyst electrode 9 on the electrolyte membrane 1. At least the catalyst layer 5 on one face is formed on the electrolyte membrane 1 through the gasket 3 having an opening 31 of a desired shape, and the gasket 3 is adhered to the electrolyte membrane 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
