<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmitter which can enhance workability in assembling work, and to provide its assembling method. <P>SOLUTION: First and second electromagnetic coils 6 and 8 are provided annularly to surround a shaft member 3. The first and second electromagnetic coils 6 and 8 can transmit power each other by electromagnetic induction. The core body 1 is provided annularly to surround the shaft member 3 and forms the passage of magnetic flux generated by a current flowing through the first and second electromagnetic coils 6 and 8. The core body 1 comprises a first core section 7 having a tubular circumferential wall portion 11 and outward flange portions 12a and 12b and being fitted with a first electromagnetic coil 6, and a second core section 9 provided to oppose the first core section 7 from radially outward and having a tubular circumferential wall portion and inward flange portions 22a and 22b and being fitted with a second electromagnetic coil 8.
