<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device capable of constraining an upper side of a shoulder portion of a passenger during emergency without causing any problems for attachment/detachment operation of a seat belt. <P>SOLUTION: A shoulder belt 4 which obliquely constrains a breast portion Cc of the passenger C and a folding portion 7 on an upper edge of the shoulder belt 4 guided into a shoulder anchor 2 are composed of plurality of layers of independent webbings W1, W2, W3 respectively. The webbing W1 on the outer layer is jointed with a moving member 11 inserted in the folding portion 7 so as to be symmetrically moved, the webbing W3 on the inner layer of the shoulder belt 4 portion is inserted, the moving member 11 is lowered at the time of emergency, and the webbing W3 on the inner layer of the shoulder belt 4 part is brought into close contact with the upper side of a single side shoulder portion Cs of the passenger C to be constrained, thus preventing the passenger C from moving in a ceiling direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
