<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring device capable of accurately measuring blood pressure without requiring a task of finding an optimal position to mount the blood pressure measuring device for each subject, which would be otherwise necessary to carry out accurate blood pressure measurements because subjects are different from each other in shape and blood vessel distribution pattern and their shapes are complex. <P>SOLUTION: This blood pressure measuring device includes an arm which is either U-shaped, square U-shaped, or V-shaped in structure, having two opposing end parts suitable for gripping a subject in between.
