PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for protecting and identifying information to be transmitted via a network, a transmitter and a receiver by an encryption means. SOLUTION: This remote monitoring, diagnostic and maintenance system performs alteration prevention, authentication of the transmitter and the receiver and selective transmission/reception of the information to be transmitted via the network by the encryption means. And the system has a means for acquiring raw data (plaintext) generated from an information generation source in real time at a close range to the generation origin, encrypting the raw data by an encryption key in real time to generate encryption data (encrypted message) and a transmitting means for selectively transmitting the encryption data only to a distribution destination prescribed by a user and selectively transmitting required data to a transmitting destination by the encryption key.
