PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsion coil spring allowing easy detaching of one part of the torsion coil spring engaged with an engaging object. SOLUTION: The torsion spring 1 is equipped with a coil part 13, a first arm part 14, and a second arm part 15. The coil part 13 is attached on the outside of a rotary shaft 9 of a display 3. The first arm part 14 extends from one end of the coil part 13, and is detachably engaged with an engaging groove part 24 formed on the display 3. The second arm part 15 extends from the other end of the coil part 13. The second arm part 15 is formed so that the first arm part 14 is detachable from an engaging groove part 24 by pressing an engagement releasing part 19 formed on the second arm part 15 and making the coil part 13 to be inclined.
