PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe condition monitoring device capable of monitoring conditions of a pipe welded section such as cracks and reduced welding thickness during normal operation of a plant. SOLUTION: A plurality of IC tags 4 with sensors are arranged on a strip of tape or a sheet 3, and the strip of tape or sheet 3 is circularly mounted along a pipe welded section or an orifice 2. Further, when the tape or sheet 3 is circularly mounted along the pipe welded section or orifice 2, the IC tags are arranged in a plurality of rows so as to be located in front and in the rear of the pipe welded section or orifice 2 against a flowing direction of fluid in the pipe.
