PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the finish without causing a sense of incompatibility in design, by facilitating construction work, without requiring a joiner, by making a decorative material inconspicuous, even if clearance is generated by a dimensional change in the decorative material. SOLUTION: This decorative material 1 has four side surfaces. An inverse inclined face 5b to an inclined face 5a is formed on the opposed side surfaces, and an inverse inclined face 6b to an inclined face 6a is also formed on the other opposed side surfaces. An inclination angleα<SB>2</SB>of the inverse inclined face 5b is set smaller than an inclination angleα<SB>1</SB>of the inclined face 5a, and an inclination angleβ<SB>2</SB>of the inverse inclined face 6b is also set smaller than an inclination angleβ<SB>1</SB>of the inclined face 6a. When constructing a wall surface by using a plurality of decorative materials, the inclined face and the inverse inclined face are continuously arranged so as to contact with each other. Painting of the same color as a decorative layer is applied to a butt end surface of the decorative material. A material composed of the decorative layer 2 and a base material 3, a material painted with a pure material, and an extruded mold are used as a raw material of the decorative material.
