PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants-type disposable diaper which is comfortable to wear by reducing uncomfortable and stiff feelings due to an absorbing medium in the front and/or back and by improving fitting performance of the absorbing medium. SOLUTION: The pants-type disposable diaper 1 comprises an absorbent body 10 having the absorbing medium 13 and an exterior sheet 20 arranged integrally with and outside of the absorbent body 10. The pants-type disposable diaper is formed by folding the diaper in the crotch section and by attaching the front and back of the exterior sheet 20 on both sides, and has a waist opening and a pair of right and left leg openings. The absorbent body 10 is configured so that the thickness of the absorbing medium 13 in the front and/or rear ends is made thinner than that in the middle section of the absorbing medium 13. Preferably, the absorbing medium 13 is thinned down gradually and taperingly from the middle section to the front and/or rear ends of the absorbing medium. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
