A self-supporting structure entirely or partially immersible into a medium such as a natural or artificial body of water comprises a lower part (1) and a platform (2), wherein said lower part (1) consists of at least four supporting pylons (10) resting on the bottom of the body of water, the pylon/ bottom of the body of water interface is obtained by means of a shoe (11) fixed to the lower end of the pylon (10), each supporting pylon (10) is height-adjustable independently of each other in such a way that said platform (2) is movable towards the surface of the body of water in a parallel position thereto. The supporting pylons (10) are connected to each other by said platform (2) consisting of a rigid arrangement comprising frames which have a geometrically simple shape and are provided with a transparent plate (21) sealed in the structure of the frame, respectively, and the arrangement is capable to receive, in particular, objects, living beings and persons.
