A navigation system integrated A/V system with an audio signal discontinuousness prevention function and a control method therefor are provided to output a continuous audio signal although a guide voice is generated by distributing and outputting the guide voice and the audio signal. A navigation module(60) has geographic information, measures its own position through a GPS(Global Positioning System), and matches the position to the geographic information. The navigation module(60) sets a path to an inputted destination, matches the set path to the geographic information, and outputs the matched path. The navigation module(60) outputs a guide voice according to a position for guiding a road along the path. An audio processing unit(70) receives an audio signal, distributes the received audio signal to corresponding channels, and outputs the audio signal through speakers corresponding to the channels. The audio processing unit(70) outputs a guide voice inputted under certain control from the audio signal to the speakers corresponding to the channels. A control unit(10) controls the audio processing unit(70), and distributes and outputs the audio signal and the guide voice according to the channels.
