CABLE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe cable capable of providing an excellent bite damage prevention effect; and to provide its manufacturing method.

SOLUTION: This cable 1 is provided, in the outside of an internal core 2, with: an outer coat 4 formed of a resin coating 4; and a bite damage prevention layer 3 formed by including nonmetallic particles 24 formed of glass scales each having a sharp tip shape in the resin coating. Glass scales each having a thickness of 10-100 μm and average granularity of 100-1,000 μm are used as the nonmetallic particles.
