<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller and a control method of a brushless motor in which rotation control is made stably without the need for an extra sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The controller 10 of a brushless motor 1 comprises: a start processing section 21 receiving a drive signal; an edge separating section 22 being connected with an induction voltage I/F circuit 14; a rotor position detecting section 23; a stopping section 24; a conduction switching timing generating section 25; and a mask signal generating section 26. A position detection signal is generated on the basis of the induction voltage signals of stator windings U, V, W. The mask signal generating section 26 generates a signal for masking variation in a spike signal being produced immediately after switching conduction of the stator windings U, V, W on the basis of the position detection signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
