<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an inverter control unit capable of positively consuming charge stored during the stop of a power supply. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter control unit comprises an inverter device 10 consisting of a converter 11, a smoothing capacitor 12, and an inverter module 13; a control unit 20 for receiving power supplied from a power supply for the control device via a converter 11 to control the inverter device 10; and an electric motor 30 that receives power supplied from the converter 11 and is driven by the inverter module 13. The control unit 20 supplies the charge stored by the smoothing capacitor 12 to the electric motor 30 when the power supply is stopped.
