DEODORIZING, ANTIBACTERIAL, COLORED AND REDUCING FIBER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing antibacterial fiber producible without necessitating complicate operations in contrast with conventional fiber and giving no undesirable appearance. SOLUTION: The deodorizing antibacterial colored fiber is composed of a reducing fiber integrally bonded with metallic silver colloid together with a dye molecule. It can be produced by contacting a reducing fiber with a dye bath containing a silver ion generating agent and a hot dyeing dye and heating at≥60°C to form metallic silver colloid simultaneous with dyeing and integrally bond the colloid to the fiber.
