<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain ink for offset printing, which has both performances of a blue hue and a high blackness degree without using a complementary color agent for providing a blue hue in a method for producing a printed article by offset printing on low density paper such as uncoated paper or slightly coated paper and a printed article that is obtained by printing the paper with the ink and has a high blackness degree and high productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The ink for offset printing comprises carbon black having specific properties, a rosin-modified phenol resin and a solvent.
