<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scalable monitoring technology that neither complicates service assurance technology implementation nor requires excessive processing capability to monitor all connections. <P>SOLUTION: This technology comprises a step for providing a data storage device that contains pass trail data accessible through a reference to the message type, session or destination information concerning pass trail data, and a step for acquiring data from this pass trail data. These data concern the version of a signaling message received by a called host node, and the presented method/unit contains a step for designating a pass for use by the signaling message, and a step for acquiring measurement data related to the signaling message from a first intermediate node specified by data designating a pass traced by the signaling message. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
