PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet for hot-formed article for attaining good formation without causing breakage, crack, etc. when the steel sheet is hot-formed and to provide a profitable method for producing such the steel sheet, and a hot-formed article etc., formed from such the steel sheet. SOLUTION: When the steel sheet used for obtaining the formed article by hot-forming the steel sheet is produced; after austenizing by heating the steel sheet, the steel sheet is cooled to the temperature range lower than martensitic transformation starting temperature Ms at≥20°C/sec average cooling speed, and after heating the obtained this steel sheet for hot-formed article with such way, to the temperature higher than Ac<SB>1</SB>transformation point, a good hot-formed article is obtained by hot-forming.
