PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor for providing a torque measuring instrument used in an ambient temperature, and capable of measuring a torque from a calibration data in the ambient temperature, independent of a measuring temperature of a sample. SOLUTION: This torque measuring instrument is constituted to couple the sample to the torque sensor for detecting the torque acting on the sample, by a torque transmission shaft using a low thermal conductive material. The torque transmission shaft is coupled with an output shaft of the sample by a flexible coupling, and the torque transmission shaft is coupled with the torque sensor for detecting the torque acting on the sample, by a free joint.
