PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely execute ultrasonic flaw detection for a specimen, without worsening efficiency of flaw detection work, even when coarseness, unevenness and a curvature exist on a surface of the specimen. SOLUTION: In this ultrasonic probes 21, 22 stored with delay materials 23, 25 attached with an oscillator 7 for transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic wave to/from the specimen, and having one side face opposed to the specimen via the opening and attached with an oscillator on the other face, to propagate the transmitted and received ultrasonic wave, in casings 3, 12 having openings 5, 13 opposed to the specimen 15, a flexible delay materials 24, 26 having a thickness to expose a face opposed to the specimen more than the openings, and formed of a material softer than the delay material are bonded onto the face opposed to the specimen of the delay materials.
