PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rotors (10, 20, 30) for a revolving machine, especially for a steam turbine which can be put under a heavier load regarding a load caused by a centrifugal force and temperature differences through the use of an advantage of a metal structure of reduced densities, for example, a metal foam. SOLUTION: At least partial areas (16, 23) of the rotors (10, 20, 30) are constituted of the metal structure of reduced densities which has a plurality of finely distributed hollow chambers (31).
