PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gear of an engine constituted so that only valve opening can be changed, without changing the valve timing. SOLUTION: This valve gear 1 of the engine has a rotatingly driven cam 8, a first rocker arm (an upper side rocker arm 2) supported by a roller shaft 6 so as to be capable of rotating a roller 7 abutting on the cam and rocking by a lift of the cam, and a second rocker arm (a lower side rocker arm 3) for driving a valve 10 for opening by rocking by allowing a cam lift-transmitted roller shaft to abut. The rocking center A of the first rocker arm is made to move on a circular arc C being concentric with the center of the roller shaft when existing in a valve closing position.
