PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document retaining implement which is capable of preventing deformation of a document held in a file box. SOLUTION: The document retaining implement is devised for retaining the document held in the file box. A document retaining plate 1 and a front panel pressing plate 2 which is pressed against a front panel 6 of the file box are connected by a connecting plate 3 so that they are extensible and contractible due to an elastic force.
