PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve machining accuracy by correcting an error amount that can not be corrected only by correcting the initial setup. SOLUTION: A machining error amount being an error amount with respect to an ideal shape of a machining aspheric face is calculated on the basis of the measurement results of the machining aspheric face (S105). A setup error amount being an error amount occurring due to the initial setup of a machining machine used for grinding the machining aspheric face is calculated on the basis of the machining error amount (S107). A numerical control program to be executed for controlling the machining machine with a numerical controller for controlling the machining machine, in which the initial setup is corrected on the basis of the setup error amount, is generated on the basis of the machining error amount and the setup error amount (S109). The machining aspheric face is ground by the machining machine (S103), in which the initial setup is corrected on the basis of the setup error amount, by allowing the numerical controller to execute the numerical control program (S110).
