PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically close a lid in conjunction with the storing movement of a table body when storing the table body of a storable table into a table storing section without disturbing such interaction even if an unreasonable force is applied to the table body or the lid when the table body is in use in an unfolded state and the lid is open. SOLUTION: The table body 12 of the storage table 10 is stored inside the table storing section 14 vertically and when in use it is drawn out from the table storing section 14, turned, and unfolded in a horizontal state. The table body 12 and the lid 14C of the storable table 10 are engaged with each other at engaging sections 12M, 14M, when opening the lid 14C of the table storing section 14 or drawing out the table body 12 from the table storing section 14, but this engagement is temporary and when the lid 14C and/or the table body 12 pass a specific position the table body 12 and the lid 14C are disengaged so that they are not mechanically connected to each other at the table using position. When the table body 12 is stored into the table storing section 14 and the engaging sections 12M, 14M are engaged, the table body 12 is stored while closing the lid 14C.
