PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and vertically movably attach a lumber support to a backrest in such a manner that the vertical position may easily be adjusted. SOLUTION: The lumber support is equipped with a lumber support attaching member 18 having a pair of right and left guide rails 19 and 21 which face the vertical direction on the front surface, and a lumber support main body 20 which is vertically movably attached to the right and left guide rails 19 and 21 in front of the lumber support attaching member 18. A guide shaft 42 which faces the lateral direction is provided on a pair of right and left attaching pieces 38 projected from the rear surface of the lumber support main body 20. The guide shaft 42 is vertically movably fitted in a guide slit which is provided on the right and left guide rails 19 and 21 and faces the vertical direction. At the same time, the rear surface of the lumber support main body 20 is slidably joined to the front surfaces of both guide rails 19 through a vertical position adjusting means in front of the guide shaft 42.
