A combustion-signal based control system requires a reliable, cost-effective option for detecting the pressure in the combustion chamber of compression-ignition internal combustion engines. The invention thus relates to a sheathed-element heater plug (110) comprising a heater plug module (112) and a pressure measuring module (114) that is connected to the heater plug module (112). The heater plug module (112) comprises a heating body (124) and a heater plug housing (118). The pressure measuring module (114) comprises at least one force measuring element (132) that is integrated into the pressure measuring module (114). The force measuring element(s) (132) is or are configured to generate an electric signal in accordance with a force (130). Said element or elements (132) is or are connected to the heating body (124), when the sheathed-element heater plug (110) is fitted, in such a way that a force (130) can be transferred to the force measuring element (132) or elements via said heating body (124).
