<p>A circular knit brassiere is provided. The brassiere has a back panel, a front panel preferably having a pair of breast cups and preferably having a pair of shoulder straps. The back panel has at least one reinforced zone. Preferably, the breast cups, shoulder straps, and the central gore also have reinforced zones. Preferably, the reinforce zones are formed during the knitting process, and also preferably using positive float miss stitch construction combinations and added in yarns. The brassiere also preferably has true or mock terry stitch construction on the wearer facing fabric side of the reinforced zones, for providing moisture wicking properties. The reinforced zones of the present invention can also be knitted into garments such as shapewear, maternity wear and athletic wear.</p> |
