A foamed member which, even when having a high expansion ratio, can be inhibited or prevented from suffering foam breakage upon peeling from a carrier tape. The foamed member has a thermoplastic resin foam layer comprising a thermoplastic resin foam formed by the step of infiltrating a high-pressure inert gas into a thermoplastic resin and then reducing the pressure, and is characterized in that at least one side of the thermoplastic resin foam layer has at least one of a thermoplastic polyester resin layer and a thermoplastic elastomer resin layer.
