IMPACT ABSORPTION SHEET FOR FLAT PANEL DISPLAY, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND FLAT PANEL DISPLAY

This invention provides an impact absorption sheet for a flat panel display, composed mainly of a polyoxyalkylene polymer, preferably an impact absorption sheet comprising (A) a polyoxyalkylene polymer containing at least one alkenyl group in one molecule, (B) a compound containing two or more hydrosilyl groups on average in one molecule, and (C) a cured product prepared by curing a hydrosilylation catalyst-containing composition. The impact absorption sheet for a flat panel display can cope with thickness reduction and weight reduction requirements of flat panel displays, and can realize excellent impact absorption particularly in a small thickness region in which impact absorption which is satisfactory from a practical point of view could not have hitherto been realized. The impact absorption sheet for a flat panel display is excellent in impact absorption, as well as in easiness in application to a flat panel display and removability after the application.
