<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict generation of contamination of paper caused by scattering of unfixed toner when paper is carried in an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device 1 comprises a photosensitive drum 2, a transfer belt 10 to electrostatically attract paper to be carried, and a post-transfer guide 11 to receive paper carried by the transfer belt to be guided toward a fixing device 8. The post-transfer guide 11 includes a belt 17 to slide paper on an upper surface 17a to guide it in a stopped state, an electric motor 20 to rotate the belt 17 by prescribed quantity at prescribed timing, and a scraper 21 as a cleaning means to clean a surface 17b of the belt 17 while the belt 17 is rotating. Toner attached to the surface 17b of the belt 17 is thus eliminated by the scraper 21, thereby generation of contamination of paper caused by toner can be restricted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
