<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an occupant by quickly restraining a waist part of the sitting occupant at a collision of an automobile. <P>SOLUTION: Each airbag device 31 is provided on both side parts of a back part 12 of a seat 10 of the automobile. When shock of the collision is received, an airbag 32 is deployed to fill a space between a belt part 22 of a seat belt device 20 and the waist part of the occupant. By quickly restraining the waist part of the occupant, moving of the waist part can be suppressed. In a seat belt device 20, a pretensioner having a complicated constitution becomes unnecessary, and manufacturing cost can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
