PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold press apparatus in which molding accuracy can be improved by preventing vibration in a molding die caused during transferring the molding die and by exactly controlling temperature in each processing unit, and to provide a method for manufacturing a molded product. SOLUTION: The mold press apparatus performs to transfer a molding block 50 including a molding die holding a molding material and to press-mold the molding material, wherein a transferring device 70 is equipped with carriers 71a, 71b linearly extended in the transfer direction of the molding block 50. By repeating movement of the carriers 71a, 71b upward, forward, downward and backward as one cycle, a plurality of molding blocks 50 are simultaneously held up by the carriers 71a, 71b and linearly transferred one by one step in the transfer direction.
