Relevant information on a fuel tank and relevant information on a mobile object are associated with each other and managed, the history of use of the fuel tank can be tracked, and the management quality of the fuel tank is improved. A mobile object equipped with a fuel tank comprises control means for associating fuel tank relevant information stored in first storage means which the fuel tank has with mobile object relevant information stored in second storage means which the mobile object has and storing the fuel tank relevant information and the mobile object relevant information in the first or/and second storage means. The fuel tank relevant information includes at least one of information on the owner of the fuel tank, information on the production of the fuel tank, information on the attribute of the fuel placed in the fuel tank, and information in the fuel filling work. The mobile object relevant information includes at least one of the information on the owner of the mobile object, the serial number of the mobile object, and the registration number of the mobile object.
