In an MRP server (10), a device configuration file (52) defining the parts configuration in a product, a necessary data file (53) generated according to a production plan, and a trade data file (51) indicating the actual use of parts are compared to one another each week and the result is recorded as a current parts cross total data file (57) (previous parts cross total data file (56)). A difference between the previous and the current necessary amounts of the parts is calculated and the calculation result is recorded in a necessary parts history data file (59) and accumulated as an XML file (60) in a search server (20). The XML file (60) is searched via a director server (30) from a search terminal (40) by using the parts name and a period as keys so as to identify the production fluctuation amount of the product causing the residual stock of the parts and the time when the fluctuation occurred.
