<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply carry out print settings without the need for expert intelligence and skills. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera DC attaches an input color profile PF 10 to image data 50 generated by photographing an object. The image processing apparatus 10 acquires the image data 50 with the input color profile PF 10 attached thereto from the digital camera GC. The input color profile PF 10 is color conversion information used for color conversion processing from an input apparatus dependence color space depending on the digital camera into an apparatus independence color space independently of the apparatus.
