<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display driving device and its driving control method that can drive a light emitting element to emit light with proper luminance gradations corresponding to display data by supplying a light emission driving current having a current value corresponding to the display data and then to provide a display device whose display picture quality is excellent and homogeneous and its driving control method. <P>SOLUTION: The display driving device 100 is equipped with a detection voltage ADC 140 which measures the threshold voltage of a light emission driving transistor provided to each display pixel PX (light emission driving circuit DC) at least in a threshold voltage detection period Tdec, a frame memory 170 which stores a measured threshold voltage for each display pixel PX, a compensation voltage DAC 150 which applies a precharge voltage based upon the measured threshold voltage to the display pixel PX in a display driving period Tcyc, and a gradation signal generation part 130 which generates a gradation signal corresponding to the display data and applies the signal to the display pixel PX. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
