<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a dye-sensitized solar cell which provides high charge transfer efficiency by adsorbing a sufficient amount of dye and manufacturing the dye-sensitized solar cell having high photo power-generation performance even by using a plastic substrate material flexible compared with glass as a support. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrode for the dye-sensitized solar cell comprising a polyester film, a transparent conductive layer installed on one side of the polyester film, and a porous semiconductor layer installed on the transparent conductive layer and comprising metal oxide particles, the metal oxide particles are comprised of 5-95 wt.% crystalline particles A and 5-95 wt.% crystalline particles B, and the crystalline particles A completely satisfy following conditions: 1.5≤dma/dxa≤5.0; and 50≤dma≤250, where dma represents the average particle diameter (nm) of the crystalline particles A, and dxa represents a crystalline size (nm) of the crystalline particles B.
