PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network camera system capable of easily making access to a network camera without the need of being conscious of an IP address and a name of the network camera. SOLUTION: The network camera system using a network camera for distributing photographed image information onto a network is provided with: the network camera having a DHCP client function for distributing a photographed image onto the network; a network hub device with a management function of a connection port number and a MAC address of the network camera; an image display device for displaying the distributed image information; and a controller that assigns an IP address on the basis of the DHCP server function, inquires of the network hub device about the MAC address of the network camera upon the receipt of an acquisition request of the IP address from the network camera, generates the name of the network camera on the basis of the acquired name of the network hub device, and registers the name to a DNS server function together with the assigned IP address.
