PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of response and a dead lock of a database. SOLUTION: In an account information DB, a block serial number of a blocked area registered with a transaction detail with the minimum detail serial number is registered as index information. When reading of a transaction detail is indicated, a blocked area of a block serial number set in the index information is read, and if a detail serial number of a transaction detail registered in the read blocked area is smaller than the indicated detail serial number, reading of the blocked areas is carried out at intervals in an order of the block serial numbers. When a detail serial number of a transaction detail registered in the read blocked area exceeds the indicated detail serial number, a block serial number to be read is returned to a block serial number with one added to a previously read block serial number, and in subsequent processes, the transaction detail to be read (a blocked area registered therewith) is searched while increasing the block serial number by one.
