PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car washing machine capable of easily constituting a structure for maintaining the neutral at low cost, and suitable for waterproof without considering rustproof such as the surface treatment. SOLUTION: The car washing machine washes a car to be washed by a washing means, and dries the car by a drying means. An elevating/lowering top nozzle 21 is provided as the drying means, a receiving member 61 is provided on an upper face side of the top nozzle, a freely moving member 65 facing the receiving member from an upper part is provided thereon, and both ends of a resin-made body 67 projecting in the right-to-left direction from the freely moving member are supported by the top nozzle side. One of opposing faces of the receiving member and the freely moving member are formed in a projecting V-shaped face 66 which is inclined in the longitudinal direction, and the other is formed in a recessed V-shaped face 62 which is inclined in the longitudinal direction. When the resin-made body is in a horizontal condition, the projecting V-shaped face and the recessed V-shaped face are tightly fitted to each other. A detection body 70 with a lower end portion thereof being located below an ejection port 21a of the top nozzle is connected to the freely moving member, and a detection means 80 is provided between the receiving member and the freely moving member.
