PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long inkjet recording head highly reliable in electrical connection. SOLUTION: In the inkjet recording head, a recording element substrate wherein a plurality of nozzles for discharging a liquid and a plurality of recording elements for generating discharge energy are arrayed, and a wiring substrate attached to a second supporting board, are arranged on a first supporting board, while the recording element substrate and the wiring substrate are electrically connected. The first supporting board and the second supporting board with the wiring substrate attached thereto are retained by a member having a rigidity.
