PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rhomboidal disc type insert to be certainly used four times and an insert attachable and detachable drilling tool with this insert installed on it. SOLUTION: This insert 11 an outline of which makes a rhomboidal disc shape has: an upper surface 12 making a rhomboidal surface and side surfaces 13a, 13b to cross the upper surface 12; a nose part 16 is provided in a part where extending surfaces of the side surfaces 13a, 13b cross with each other at an acute angle; a first cutting blade 17 is formed at a crossing ridge line part of the side surface 13a which is one of the side surfaces 13a, 13b and the upper surface 12; a second cutting blade 18 is formed at a crossing ridge line part of the other side surface 13b and the upper surface 12, and a first corner blade 19 connected to the first cutting blade 17; a second corner blade 20 connected crossed to the first corner part 17 and a recessed part 21 arranged between the second corner blade 20 and the second cutting blade 18 and recessed inward in the insert 11 are furnished at the crossing ridge line part of the nose part 16 and the upper surface 12.
