The device includes variously-implemented openings (5) and is fitted with a retention clamp (6). A suction cup (2) is held in a fixed position or can be moved along a guide slot (4) and held by a clamping screw (7). A closure (3) is included. The adjustable angle provided between the suction cup and the retention clamp allows the aid to be held at right angles, on horizontal or vertical surfaces. The arrangement offers rapid, trouble-free mounting. A fastener (3), made of a suitable material (e.g. plastic) prevents the suction cup from falling out of the guide slot. The suction cup is fitted and arrested in the guide slot, using a screw. The device can be constructed with the slot at an angle to the retention clamp (6). With a suitable angle setting, the aid can be attached to either horizontal or vertical surfaces.
