Systems and methods for selecting information associated with a removable storage medium (1) are disclosed. A multimedia presentation, such as a movie, is stored on the removable storage medium (1). A provider key is used to identify a particular content provider, such as a film studio, with the removable storage medium (1). Other media content associated with the same content provider is activated at least partially in response to a determination that the removable storage medium (1) of the content provider has been inserted into an information storage medium, such as a computer or a DVD player.
