<p>An elevator (10) comprises a body (12) having a longitudinal axis therethrough. The body (12) is operable to at least partially surround and support a tubular member (100) aligned with the longitudinal axis. The body (12) has a longitudinal opening (34) that is sized so as to allow the tubular member (100) to pass therethrough. A door (16) is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the body (12) and has a closed position wherein the tubular member (100) is retained within the body (12) and an opened position wherein the tubular member (100) can pass through the longitudinal opening (34).</p> |
