FLAT GLASS PRODUCTION BY MEANS OF FLOTATION WITH NO FIXED POINT

Flat glass is fabricated by the continuous floating of molten glass on a bath of molten metal. The floated glass progressively forms a ribbon defiling on the metal bath without presenting any fixed point in the installation. The molten metal may be discharged to places able to be fixed points and notably to the float point the most upstream and situated on the longitudinal axis of the bath. - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a device for the fabrication of flat glass by this method.
