The folder has a transparent base section (1) that together with a cover section forms a covering for a digital data medium e.g. CD. The medium engages with a central round hole over a stopping projection of the cover section, such that its sensitive reflective side is directed to a cover wall of the cover section and its label side directed to a person handling the medium when the medium is removed along with the cover section.
