摘要 A method for driving a robot cleaner is provided to improve cleaning function about cells and the whole cleaning space by partitioning the cleaning space into the cells and driving the robot cleaner properly to the cells, to let a user or a microcomputer easily judge proceeding degree or a finished point by spirally cleaning each cell unit, and to change a cleaning method and check a battery according to the proceeding degree. A method for driving a robot cleaner comprises steps of setting a virtual space including a cleaning space and setting the virtual space into at least one cell(52); driving the robot cleaner to clean an assigned cell and partially and vertically moving in the assigned cell; and after finishing each previous cleaning or setting step, driving to the next cell from the assigned cell to clean the virtual space in a spiral direction(56) through each cell unit.
